THE WHY
Ingaborg Foutch

My name is Ingaborg Foutch, and I had the life-changing opportunity to travel to Zimbabwe, Africa during the summer of 2021. I had the chance to take part in a service project where I assisted in building a medical clinic in a poverty-stricken area that very much needed all the help it could get.

During my time in Zimbabwe, I witnessed a level of poverty that I had never seen before. I realized how much of a need there is in this beautiful yet impoverished country and how badly I wanted to help. Most families and individuals I interacted with lacked basic necessities I take for granted on the daily. From small things, such as having a toothbrush and toothpaste, to larger things, like receiving proper medical care I need when I am sick. This devastating, yet eye opening experience is what inspired me to start this organization!

I have been privileged to work with ZimbabWE Care, a wonderful group of doctors and medical workers who travel back and forth between the US and Zimbabwe making this organization possible. This charity is my effort to instigate change and positively impact the lives of people in Zimbabwe, Africa.
